Leakage occurred

However, due to the vibration and impact of processing, this defect is exposed and it is expressed as leakage/ seepage of oil/ water. Therefore, the break-in period is prone to leakage.

Poor lubrication
Due to the small fit clearance of the newly assembled machine, it is difficult to ensure the uniformity of gap. Hence the lubricant oil (grease) cannot easily form a uniform oil film on the friction surface. It reduces lubrication efficiency and causes early abnormal worn of boring machine parts. In severe cases, it can result in scratching or biting into the friction surface of the precision fitting.
